CSU Stories: Emily Markworth

I met Emily Markworth in line at the bookstore. Her lively and upbeat personality made it easy to start a conversation. Markworth is a CSU student majoring in environmental health, with the ambition to be a physician’s assistant. Why go into the medical field? Her junior year of high school she struggled with health problems and wants to give back. “I’m meant to be here,” Markworth says, “I’m meant to do something bigger than myself.” Here’s her story.
