Participating shops include CSU Ram Zone, Happy Lucky’s Tea House & TreasuresRain Boutique and Kilwins Chocolates & Ice Cream.

“This gives local businesses to be a bigger part of our community,” said Lauren Tanner, an employee of Prima Bodywear. “It’s a great chance to find interesting kitschy stuff. There are some unique finds.”

Prima Bodywear is a participating shop that sells dance and yoga wear. According to Tanner, their shop rotates what their special will be during the extended hours. This Friday, everything will be buy two get one free.

Three businesses, Flamingo Boutique, Find of the Day and CresCendo, have teamed together so that if a person takes a punch card to all three, they are entered in a drawing for $60.

“[CresCendo] is an oil, vinegar and spice shop. We will soon increase to spirits and be a specialty liquor store,” said Dustin Tanski, an employee of CresCendo.

According to Tanski, there is always a tasting or prepared recipe ready to sample in the store. Demonstrations of how to prepare some of these products are exhibited.

Find of the Day is a first-rate second hand store filled with like new items for sale. Find of the Day sells everything from couches to clothes to kitchen items.
During Shop Late Fridays, Find of the Day will have a promotion of 20 percent off the entire store.
Other offers include a drawing at the Savory Spice Shop, half price Potpourri at The Perennial Gardener and 10 percent off one item at The Cupboard.
“Little, locally-owned businesses don’t get the same opportunity to advertise like big brands,” Tanner said. “So this gives us a chance to let people know what’s down here and build that community.”
