Tom Hilbert finally got the match he was waiting for all season, a three set win where his team had to close out every set.
The CSU volleyball team won on the road for the first time this year, defeating Mountain West leading UNLV 3-0 in Las Vegas on Sunday.

CSU never trailed in the first set, winning 25-22, and maintained a two point lead for the entire second half of the set. The Rams totalled 17 kills and four attacking errors for a sterling .361 hitting percentage.
The Rams used a 5-2 run to close out the second 25-22 set after UNLV tied it at 20. Senior outside hitter Dana Cranston lead the team four kills in the set. She finished with 16 for the match.
UNLV scored four of the first five points in the third set, but CSU went on a 6-0 run when it trailed 9-11 and never looked back, winning the set 25-23.
