Lucky fans who snagged tickets to a season five premiere of “Game of Thrones” gathered at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in Denver Tuesday March 31. Those in attendance were treated to an audience judged costume contest and a special video message from “Game of Thrones” author George R.R. Martin. Audience cheers showed that the first episode of the season does not disappoint. The highly anticipated fifth season of “Game of Thrones” premieres April 12 on HBO.
