Monday the secretary of state gave North Dakota approval to circulate a petition to try to get medical marijuana on the ballot in June, according to WDAY news.
If the group supporting the petition can gather 13,500 signatures by Feb. 15, the state may have a chance in voting on the measure.
The proposed bill would allow possession of up to three ounces for those who are diagnosed with any of the 12 qualifying conditions.
