October marks the start of a new weed era in Oregon

Next month adults 21 and older will be legally able to purchase and possess marijuana in Oregon.

Customers will be able to buy up to seven grams, a quad, per day. They may have up to four plants growing at home and there are no limitations on seed sales.

Up until now Oregon dispensaries have only served medical patients. The state has received hundreds of medical dispensary applications, but each will decide whether or not to serve recreational customers too.

Marijuana has been legalized, but the Oregon Liquor Control Commission predicts that a regulated market will not be in full effect until next year.
