Historians estimate that New Year’s resolutions have been a tradition for thousands of years. What started as promises to the gods worshiped by the ancient Babylonians has transformed into a tradition of self-improvement.
The U.S. Supreme Court is extremely flawed. Most people on the political spectrum can admit that, but in very different ways. For example, the Democratic justices are deemed patron saints who can do no wrong, but the reality is even Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who we champion above all, had her not-so-amazing history with racial justice and tribal sovereignty. The United States is run by an oligarchy.

As college students, we are surrounded by people with different goals, passions and talents. A college campus is one of the few places where you get to interact with people from multiple different fields of study almost constantly.

As a teenage girl, I listened to nothing but Taylor Swift. But even though her music does make up a large amount of some of my playlists, she’s not the only artist I listen to. And I can’t deny that I know the words to every one of her songs. I like her music, and I am not ashamed to admit it.
The Colorado Supreme Court ruled that Trump will be disqualified from the state's 2024 presidential ballot. It cites the 14th Amendment of the constitution, which states an individual cannot hold office if they “have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the (U.S.) or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.”

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I am fully convinced that if Gucci put their logo on a used toothbrush and listed it as Vintage-Bristled Brush with Spit Marbling, someone in the world would buy it in a heartbeat.
Many Americans like to coin the United States as the greatest country on the planet. While that might be true in some aspects, in the context of sports culture and fandom, that’s plainly and simply not the case.

Over 1,850 people at Colorado State University are international students, making up less than 6% of the student body. They come from all corners of the world, with a large percentage of the international student body hailing from China, India and Indonesia.

Several of the Colorado State University dining halls feature international sections on their daily menus. The food served consists of cultural tastings from several different areas around the globe. Frequent meals include carnitas bowls, poke and rice, chicken tikka masala and spicy chicken with kimchi and furikake.
Don’t get me wrong: I love the romances of Nick and Charlie from "Heartstopper" or Elio and Oliver from "Call Me by Your Name" as much as the next person. The problem is that almost all popular queer media depict homosexual relationships as only this certain top-bottom, fem-masc way, stemming from a culture of heteronormativity pressed onto the queer community. And this falls woefully short of displaying the vast diversity and beauty present within LGBTQIA+ relationships.
