“Colton deserves all the credit tonight. He worked extremely hard the last couple (of) years, and put himself in this position. Yes, his coaches absolutly helped him a ton. But Colton put in the work and now he’s being rewarded for it. He deserves everything coming his way. He earned it.”

We are awaiting response from the CSU Athletic department, and head basketball coach Larry Eustachy.

BREAKING: CSU’s standout center Colton Iverson was selected with the 53 overall pick by the Indiana Pacers.  Reports say he will be traded to the Boston Celtics, pending NBA League approval.

Iverson, in one season with the Rams, established himself as one of the most dominant rebounding big-men in the NCAA. With a first-team selection in the Mountain West, and a powerful appearence in the Mountain West Tournament, Iverson emerged as a hot name in the NBA.

In Chicago, at the NBA Draft Combine, Iverson was measured in at 7-feet tall.
