The 6-foot-10 center struggled in the Rams’ win over Fresno State Wednesday afternoon scoring just seven points and grabbing five rebounds in a defensive battle, but shined in CSU’s loss to UNLV Friday night, scoring 24 points and grabbing 16 boards.

After the performance against the Rebels, UNLV coach Dave Rice lauded Iverson stating he was “as good a post player as there is in the country.”

Iverson is joined by New Mexico’s Tony Snell and Cameron Bairstow and UNLV’s Anthony Bennett and Katin Reinhardt.

Snell was named the tournament’s most outstanding player after scoring 21 points and leading the Lobos to a 63-56 victory over UNLV Saturday night.
