Extended period of warmth begins Thursday

Those 60s we experienced on Tuesday will not be sticking around for your Wednesday. Temperatures will return to the seasonal average with a breeze picking up for the afternoon. A thick cloud deck should stick around through most of the day.

After a relative cool down today, expect temperatures to settle into the comfortable 50s. Dry weather sets up for the next five days as well. The weekend looks like a safe bet for outdoor activities along the front range.
