The incident took place at the Briarwood Apartment Complex, which is in proximity to Poudre High School. A children’s camp taking place in the school led to the building being put on lockout, according to the release.
Police were able to identify the suspect as Lawrence Roth and took into custody.
Roth was booked into the Larimer County Jail on the following charges: Felony Menacing (class 5 felony), Bias-Motivated Crime (class 1 misdemeanor), and Violation of Bond Conditions (class 6 felony).
All charges are merely accusations by law enforcement officers, and the arrested party will be presumed innocent until proven guilty in court, according to FCPS.
