CSU mourns passing of student Thomas Rugland Evans

Thomas Rugland Evans, 21, a CSU student, died in a car accident while driving south on I-25 near the Wyoming border on June 20.

Tom had just finished his third year at Colorado State University where he studied Construction Management.

Tom graduated from Mount Si High School in Washington where he was a founding member of the Mount Si Lacrosse Program. Tom was a proud nerd, ranked internationally at League Of Legends and was a paintball and ropes course instructor at the Island Lake Camp in Poulsbo. He was born March 22, 1995. 

Tom is survived by his parents and an older brother and sister, all whom reside in Washington.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held in at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, in Washington at the Sallal Grange in North Bend.
