Live country music performances from Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, Darius Rucker, The Band Perry and Brett Eldredge will be shown in the made-for-cinema concert film “American Saturday Night: Live from the Grand Ole Opry.” The first showing at Carmike Cinemas will begin Friday at 7 p.m., and another showing will take place at 9:30 p.m. The film will be shown at that location until Dec. 10.

The 100-minute movie, presented by DigiNext Films, shows some of country’s most famous artists performing on stage, along with backstage interviews.

Country Cares for St. Jude Kids, which has raised $550 million for the foundation since 1989, is the partner of the Grand Ole Opry film. The children’s hospital will receive a portion of each $12.50 ticket sold.

“I have a big heart for this film and I love the charity that is attached,” said Michael Abrams, director of marketing for DigiNext Films. “Although adults love country music, there are a ton of younger people that are interested in these acts. St. Judes is doing amazing things in the world of medicine, (so) we thought it would be appropriate.”

Carmike Cinemas is located at 3636 Manhattan Ave. in Fort Collins.
