Professor Temple Grandin recognized with Webby Award

Animal sciences professor Temple Grandin was honored with a Webby Award Tuesday.

A Webby Award recognizes excellence on the Internet from websites to apps, according to the website.

Grandin was awarded for her Ask Me Anything on Reddit in the “social: education and discovery,” category. This post was recognized because it was the most popular science AMA ever, according to the Webby Awards website.

Grandin is a best-selling author, autism advocate and was featured on Times Top 100 Most Influential List.

“Clearly, Professor Grandin is a global thought leader, and our social media team shared her and our University with the world through this award-winning effort,” said Tom Milligan, vice president for External Relations at Colorado State University.
