    San Diego freaked after too much fireworks, Fort Collins shrugged our shoulders

    Here’s a rundown of the Fourth of July:

    Fort Collins got no fireworks: Many were disappointed, but understood why.

    San Diego got too many fireworks: Everyone was pissed off.

     

    The lesson is that it is better to deprive a population of the holiday tradition than to give them too much of what they want.
