It's expensive to maintain the criminals on death row. Maybe society should take a page from the Romans and allow felons to fight for freedom — or death.
Forget everything you thought you knew about debate and political participation; you might as well throw that pile of research out the window. Bringing a statistic to the argument is the equivalent of bringing a knife to a gun fight.
