Many Coloradoans were disappointed this month when the 4/20 rally was cancelled due to a snowstorm. According to Fox News, the gathering has been rescheduled for May 21 and will still take place in Denver’s Civic Center Park for the seventh year in a row.
Tens of thousands of people were expected to come together for the rally before the cancellation was announced. Organizers hope festival-goers will still come around even though the event has been delayed.
Wiz Khalifa and Lil Wayne will still headline the rally and over 250 vendors will gather for the celebration. For backstage privileges and to avoid long lines access passes can be purchased here.
The 4/20 rally is considered the largest free cannabis celebration in the country. This year it will be sponsored by Colorado Marijuana Company, MassRoots, and Sweet Leaf. To read more about the reschedule, check out the full story.
