Broncos sign former CSU OL Sam Carlson

Former Colorado State offensive tackle Sam Carlson has signed with the Broncos after the team waived WR Marlon Brown Thursday morning.

The 6-foot-4, 295-pound rookie started 26 games in his time at CSU. One of the leaders of offense in 2015, Carlson started all 13 games last season, apart of an offense that averaged 417 yards per-game. The versatile offensive linemen played guard, center and tackle in his time with the Rams.

Carlson originally signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent in May, before being waived by the team in late July. The Colorado native joins former CSU teammates Shaquil Barrett, Kapri Bibbs and Ty Sambrailo on the Broncos roster.
