CSU only shot 38.8 percent from the field, but held the Falcons to 25.8 percent shooting and forced 20 turnovers. The Falcons only made two of their 21 three point shots, good for a 9.5 percent clip.

No Air Force player scored in double figures. Juniors Cherae Medina and Camille Thompson lead the team with nine points.

The Rams finished with 12 steals, five of which came in the game’s first five minutes.

CSU opened the game on a 15-3 run in the first half of the opening period and never trailed in the game.

“We had some really nice possessions early,” CSU coach Ryun Williams said. “I thought we were really disruptive, and we rebounded the ball well. It was comforting to our kids to get on the board first. We needed this today.”

Duffy scored in double figures for the seventh time in her freshman season.

The win improves CSU’s record to 5-10 (1-1 MW) and drops Air Force to 2-14 (1-2 MW).

The Rams continue their two-game conference road game Saturday in Las Vegas against UNLV at 2:00 p.m.
