According to the post from PFA, firefighters on PFA’s Engine 6 reported seeing the fire in the backyard about 50 feet from a home in a densely packed mobile home community. Additional PFA units responded and worked together to extinguish the fire.
While the cause of the fire is under investigation, according to Poudre Fire Authority, it is believed to have started outside. Vegetation mainly burned in an area closely surrounded by other homes.
In the post, PFA also identified PFA’s Customer Assistance Response Team, or CART, along with UCHealth emergency medical services and the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office as arriving on-scene to help people involved in the incident.
