Two more physical assaults in Fort Collins, police advise caution

Two separate physical assaults occurred Friday night, according to a police press release. The first police call was at 10:30 p.m. at City Park Avenue and Baystone Drive. The second call was at 10:50 p.m. from the 3000 block of W. Elizabeth Street.

Both victims were females who were traveling outside and alone when they were approached and assaulted. No substantial injuries were reported.

The suspect was described by both victims as a medium-large build, Hispanic male with short hair between the ages of 30-40. The suspect matches the description from a series of recent assaults in the Fort Collins area.

Fort Collins police caution individuals traveling alone after dark. They advise that people travel in groups and try to remain in well-traveled areas.
