This week has been a good one, yet again. Though the weather is starting to get cold, the sunshine is persisting. Let’s soak it all up before it leaves us!
Bridget Jones
A classic movie about being sad and single. The story feels strangely familiar, minus Hugh Grant and Colin Firth fighting for my love. It is easy to sit back and complain that romantic comedies are becoming increasingly unrealistic, but in some cases, that is not true. Bridget Jones is that case. It is the most realistic story about navigating love that I have ever seen —so realistic that I felt slightly panicked as I watched for the umpteenth time this past week.
Trader Joes
I spiced up my trip to the grocery store this week by driving across town to Trader Joes. And it was worth it because their spiced apple cider and pumpkin waffles.
Mindy Kaling’s book “Why Not Me?”
I started reading this a few months back, and was unamused, so I stopped halfway through. I’ve recently picked it back up. The second half is much better than the first, and I would recommend it if you’re in need for an easy, entertaining laugh.
Big sweaters that feel like a blanket is draped over your shoulders
Pretty self-explanatory. Sweaters are the greatest things to own and have in your closet. Load up!
Lush Life – Zara Larsson
This song has been on repeat all week. I’m actually starting to get tired of it. Though I do love it for obvious reasons (we share the same incredibly uncommon name!), the song itself it really upbeat and you’ll struggle to get it out of your head.
