Metzger-Seymour is a sophomore graphic design major and minoring in media studies. She has been working for The Collegian and College Avenue as a designer since fall 2017.

Metzger-Seymour’s interest in publication design originated from her work on her high school news magazine, Standley Lake High School’s The Lake

Outside The Collegian newsroom Metzger-Seymour works avidly on her artwork, favoring both paint and ink mediums. Her subject of choice is mountain landscapes, inspired by the mountains that surround Fort Collins.

She likes working for the design desk as every night brings a new challenge and need to problem solve the placement of elements on a page.

Metzger-Seymour is excited and looking forward to another year working on The Collegian design desk.
