Since 2003, Colorado citizens have been allowed to conceal and carry weapons. The ability to bear arms is also stated in the Colorado constitution, and Colorado State University has chosen to honor this amendment, and allow students with licensed permits to conceal weapons on campus. Both students and professors have differing opinions on whether on not this is actually safe for our community. The issue of the subject is in regards to the safety of the students and professors in the classroom, and whether a concealed weapon is safe. Regardless, CSU has chosen to honor both the 2nd amendment and the Colorado constitution.
