A colorfully decorated skull lays atop an altar in El Centro inside the Lory Student Center. The altar was set up in celebration of Dia De Los Muertos, meaning Day of the Dead in English. The Mexican holiday begins October 31st and lasts until November 2nd, where it is believed that the spirits of those who have passed away are able to revisit their families and friends.
