Your guide to 4/20 events in Denver

For many Coloradoans April 20 calls for a full day of celebration. To those of you who are looking to spend the holiday in Denver, here are some stoner festivities taking place in the mile high city.

Official 420 Rally

When: April 16

Where: Civic Center Park, Denver

What: Food, live music and marijuana-themed activities for thousands of stoners. The full event line-up is still being organized.

 

World Cannabis Week

When: April 15-21

Where: Various locations across Denver

What: A tour hosted by My420Tours that includes shuttle passes, a hotel stay, concert tickets, a Colorado cannabis tour and other 420 themed events.

2016 Connoisseur Cup

When: April 20-24 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Where: City Hall, Denver

What: A festival with three marijuana-friendly events held each day, a cannabis strain and concentrate competition, live music and comedians. 

 

High Times Cannabis Cup

When: April 19

Where: The Ogden Theatre, Denver

What: Annual cannabis competition and awards ceremony with special performances from Cypress Hill, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Action Bronson, Chronixx and Zincfence Redemption. Purchase tickets here!

 

420 Eve on the Rocks

When: April 19 at 4:15 p.m.

Where: Red Rocks Amphitheater

What: A concert hosted to celebrate 4/20 featuring sets played by the following:

  • Method Man and Redman feat. Ghostface Killah
  • Collie Buddz
  • Joey BadA$$
  • The Underachievers
  • Stick Figure
  • Whiskey Blanket
  • Jarren Benton
  • Dizzy Wright

 

Snoop Dogg, Future and Friends

When: April 20 at 5:00 p.m.

Where: Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre, Englewood

What: The third annual Mary Jane Wellness Retreat hosted by Snoop Dogg and Future with special guests including Kevin Gates. Find more information or purchase tickets here.

 

The Colorado Cup

When: April 20 from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Where: 5912 East Colfax Avenue, Denver

What: The first cannabis competition held for Colorado growers only. Caregivers, dispensaries and private growers are invited to enter. Public entry is free and the event will feature a dab bar to help judges select a winner for the people’s choice award.

 

Denver 420 Fest

When: April 15-17

Where: Various locations across Denver

What: A 4/20 celebration encompassing three days to provide stoners with a  flexible schedule so they can plan to attend additional events. The festival will provide live music, roaming entertainers, glass, vendors for cannabis-related clothing, jewelry and more.

 

420 at the Glitterdome

When: April 20 from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Where: 3600 Wynkoop Street, Denver

What: A full day of cannabis-friendly events for adults 21 and older featuring a special performance from Paul Wall.
