Senators in Massachusetts announced Wednesday they will be visiting Colorado to study the recreational marijuana industry, according the Salem News.

The Special Senate Committee on Marijuana, a ten member committee led by Democratic Sen. Jason Lewis, will be flying to Colorado to evaluate how the state is regulating grow operations and dispensaries.

They will also be looking at how officers manage drivers under the influence of marijuana.Lewis noted he would not need to sample the product to understand it.

The committee plans to have a report on the issue ready by February to propose for the 2016 ballot. To read more about Massachusetts Senators, check out the full article.
