Last weekend was an interesting one for college football. Saturday was complete with upsets, acts of divine intervention, crazy fans, and last second wins, but for CSU Ram fans, the best win of the day was that over New Mexico. Running back Kapri Bibbs led the Rams in a 66-42 defeat of the Lobos with six rushing touchdowns, setting a new CSU single-game record.

Although an exciting win, the real victory in beating the Lobos comes with getting one step closer to a bowl game for the first time since 2008. With two games left in the season, the Rams only need one more win to become bowl eligible. SB Nation has the Rams down for the Idaho Potato Bowl, but the National Football Post is thinking Hawaii (which CBS Sports also supports).

The CSU Rams play the Utah State Aggies today at Romney Stadium at 1:30 p.m. MT. A win against the Aggies would secure bowl eligibility for the Rams, but a win won’t be decided easily. Utah State is on a three game winning streak with a 6-4 record this season, and is ranked second in the Mountain West, above CSU at third. The Rams are coming off a win in which they racked up 649 yards of total offense, the third-most total offensive yards in a single game in CSU history according to CSU media. Additionally, CSU is averaging over thirty points a game this season, a first since 1997.

If the Rams don’t win against the Aggies, their last chance for bowl eligibility will be at home against Air Force. The Falcons are 2-9, 6th in the Mountain West.
