And the Pantone Color of the Year for 2014 Is…

It’s that time of the year again where the Pantone Color Institute announces their color of the year. The color for 2014 is…Radiant Orchid! This blend of fuchsia with pink and purple undertones screams exoticism and enigma, in contrast to last year’s (2013) color of the year, Emerald.

In addition to being a up and coming trend for clothing and makeup, the Pantone colors always make a splash in interior decorating as well, serving as the basis for paint colors and home furnishing elements.

Expect to see this color everywhere in the coming year, starting…NOW!
