Leana Kaplan is one of four individuals depicted in a photo wearing what has been called by many, including Colorado State University itself, blackface. In an exclusive interview on Monday, Sept. 16, Kaplan spoke with Collegian and CTV reporters about the night of the photo, the aftermath and its effect on not just her but campus in general.
In this interview, Kaplan explains her thoughts on the image itself, the reaction to it and what it means to the campus and the many communities within CSU.
Stay tuned to Rocky Mountain Student Media for a discussion on the impact of the photo from KCSU and from CTV.
