In an alert sent by CSUPD to students at approximately 7 p.m. yesterday, it was announced that Pitkin Street would be closed between South Shields Street and Meridian Avenue. This section of Pitkin Street was closed off until around midnight, Ciaravola wrote.

CSUPD is investigating the accident at this time.
