Out of 384 colleges across the country, Colorado State University has the ninth best campus newspaper with The Rocky Mountain Collegian, according to the 2019 ranking by The Princeton Review.
The ranking is part of a larger college evaluation for The Best 384 Colleges book, which evaluates universities based on survey data from 138,000 students at the 384 schools in the book.
Students answer 80 questions structured in a five-point scale–choice headers for example, could say “Excellent” to “Poor” and students choose a point aligning with what they believe.
Rankings for the “Best College Newspaper” are based on students’ answers to the single survey question: “How do you rate your campus newspaper?”
