Police began investigating a stabbing incident Friday, Nov. 11, near Prospect Road and South Overland Trail.
Just before 1 a.m. Friday, Fort Collins police were called in to a Fort Collins Urgent care center. A patient with stab wounds had come to the center for treatment.
The man had been transported to the Urgent Care center by a family member, and was then taken to Medical Center of the Rockies. Officers determined the stabbing had taken place at a 7-11 located near the intersection of Prospect Road and South Overland Trail.
Officers believe the victim and suspect had previously agreed to meet at the 7-11 location. Officers are still investigating the incident, but do not think there is a threat to the community. The relationship between the subject and victim is also still under investigation.
