Men in the Movement, based out of Colorado State University’s Women and Gender Advocacy Center, is hosting a session on masculinity and the disabled body.
Each semester, Men in the Movement, hosts open CSU sessions examining tough issues surrounding masculinity. This semester, the group chose to collaborate with Resources for Disabled Students to examine how socialized notions of masculinity have an impact on men with a disability.
The event will be held in the Morgan Library Events Center from 7 to 8 p.m. There will also be a small group discussion following the event, examining the experiences facing men with a disability.
