Colorado State University mascot CAM the Ram is most known by students and Fort Collins locals for his appearances at football games and other campus sporting and social events. Aside from communal adoration, locals were awed at how exhilarating and frankly unique his social life is outside of his occupation as the mascot.Â

The COVID-19 pandemic has driven us into the throes of the inside world, so it should come as no surprise that people are increasingly using the internet to engage with others and foster interpersonal relationships.
A certain type of relationship, however – those of the para-social variety – has created a culture that promotes obsession and delusion. I’m referring to relationships between influencers or celebrities and their stans.
In life amid a pandemic, we all could use a little self-care, especially as we exit dead week and make our way to the final week of the semester; one full of stress and tests and the luxury of break peeking over the horizon.Â
When you think of self-care, a few images may come to mind — a glistening face mask, a manicure, a long bubble bath — but there’s something clearly missing in these spas and salons: the men.Â

Last year's presidential election was a political turf war in the most literal sense. As the election created a divisive political environment in the U.S., the tenseness of the moment created a series of proxy wars on lawns across America.
The semester's end is finally within reach, and with that comes the stress of finals and the beginning of deterioration. After coming back from fall break and walking to and from classes again, you might hear people talk about their desire to drop out, as if to jokingly find the comedic relief they need to make it to the end.

Allen Wrench, the Colorado State University sophomore who brought this issue to light, devised a plan to catch the vile person stealing bikes.
I joined The Collegian’s opinion desk in December 2019 knowing absolutely nothing about writing for a newspaper besides the fact that I wanted to do it. I didn’t know what to expect, but I was surprised when I showed up to my first meeting in the newsroom to find a table full of students just like me ricocheting ideas off one another.
The holiday season is now in full swing, and you know what that means! It’s time to dig deep into the holiday spirit! The stress of gift-giving and decorating your home to ensure that your family doesn’t appear dysfunctional to the rest of the neighborhood can make a person crazy, so here I am, giving you the gift of all gifts: A very merry Craigslist Christmas.Â
Today, Dec. 1, marks the 130th anniversary of The Collegian’s first publication. Over that time, we’ve undergone countless changes as we constantly raced to keep up with the ever-changing world of journalism.
