As with most trends, stacked cartilage piercings are making an appearance since their time in the 90s, according to Style Bistro writer India-Jewel Jackson.
“It’s usually just two or three glitzy hoops worn on the helix, but occasionally you’ll see the look taken to the max via four or more—sometimes on both ears. (That’s what we call pretty in punk),” Jackson writes.
However, while Hollywood stars deck out the new fashion in expensive jewelry, there are many cost effective alternatives to getting the look.
