2016 Farewell Hughes Football Home Opener Pre-Game Standup

The Colorado State Rams began their 2016 season with a heartbreaking loss to the University of Colorado Buffaloes at the Rocky Mountain Showdown last Friday night. Winning the last seven of eight home openers including the last three consecutive home openers, the Rams will aim to take advantage of a home crowd this Saturday as they face off against the University of Texas San Antonio Roadrunners, an out-of-conference opponent. CTV Sports anchors Karlee Schwarzkopf and Elizabeth Prasse predict another close game with the first “W” for the Rams this fall as they kick off the farewell season at Hughes Stadium. The weather is nice and feeling groovy for this 60s themed football game and a special thank you goes out to all the military men and women for their service to our great nation as we honor them for Military Appreciation Day!
