Colorado State has added to its array of quarterbacks for the second time in three days.
After announcing the signing of former Georgia quarterback Faton Bauta, CSU announced Monday that Dorman (SC) High School quarterback Collin Hill has signed a financial aid agreement with the Rams and will enroll in classes in January.

Hill, a 6-foot-5, 210-pound senior, is one of five finalists for South Carolina’s Mr. Football award, given annually to the top player in the state, regardless of classification. Hill recently competed in the Class 4A state championship game and the Shrine Bowl, which pits all-stars from North Carolina and South Carolina. Hill earned his state’s Offensive MVP honor by completing 15 of 28 passes for 192 yards and three touchdowns with one interception.
Hill capped his senior season the previous weekend by throwing for 315 yards and one touchdown while completing 65 percent of his passes, as his Dorman squad came up short against undefeated Fort Dorchester for the 4A title. In 2015, Hill passed for a school-record 3,505 yards and 35 touchdowns with 11 interceptions in leading his team to a record of 11-4. He also rushed for four touchdowns with a long of 27 yards.
As a junior in 2014, Hill set a then-school record with 3,304 passing yards and 31 touchdowns to help lead the Cavaliers to a 10-3 record.
He joins Bauta, returning starter Nick Stevens, redshirt freshman J.C. Robles and walk-on Chandler Drachslin in the Rams’ stable of quarterbacks. Colorado State currently has no other quarterbacks committed for the 2016 class.
