About 2/3 of an inch of rain fell at CSU on Thursday, and it’s not done yet. Additional rainfall is expected through the morning on Friday. Whatever you wore yesterday will be your best option again today: waterproof jacket, umbrella, warm clothes.

Your Friday morning will be dreary and showery. Rain will be off and on; thankfully, it won’t be as heavy as Thursday’s downpours. Expect some light to moderate rainfall until about 2 p.m. Temperatures will again remain in the 50s for most of the day.
Have big Friday night plans? Well the rain shouldn’t be a problem, but it will certainly be cool. Bring a jacket along. Clouds will start to break up a bit after 10:00 p.m.
After a rainy Thursday and Friday, temperatures will quickly rebound on Saturday. A weak storm may be possible in the afternoon, but it looks unlikely. I’d choose Saturday if you are making outdoor plans. A cold front is forecast to move through Colorado around lunch time on Sunday, and that means more rain. It looks more like light moderate rain showers, not a downpour.
Monday will be a transition day between systems. An upper level high pressure system will slowly begin to move over Colorado. Temperatures will be near average on Monday, and there will be a few hapless clouds. As the high pressure continues to build, Tuesday will warm to near 70. By Wednesday, temperatures are forecast to be well above normal! Sunny, dry weather is likely Tuesday through Friday.
