When it comes to American Football, most people love to watch the NFL. We cannot really blame them though. This is where the magic happens....

Lyric Cinema close to fundraising goal

The Lyric Cinema Cafe in Old Town has nearly reached its $150,000 fundraising goal to purchase digital projectors it would need to stay in business.

Its campaign has been run through Kickstarter, a website that allows individuals and organizations to “crowd source” financial donations by offering perks to its “backers.”


Currently 2,020 people have donated more than $143,000 to the Lyric.

Those wishing to donate have until Monday, August 6 to give money, but the catch is that if the Lyric doesn’t completely reach its $150,000 goal it won’t receive any of the money.
