Colorado State University students came to support the football team for the annual Grill the Buffs event organized by the Associated Students of Colorado State University in the Lory Student Center Sutherland Sculpture Garden Thursday afternoon.

In preparation for the Rocky Mountain Showdown this weekend, students were provided free buffalo burgers, drinks, shirts and entertainment. Cam the Ram and the marching band made an appearance, getting students hyped for the upcoming football game.

There were also corn hole and water pong games, as well as a free photo booth for students to capture their excitement for CSU’s upcoming football game against CU Boulder at Sports Authority Field Saturday.

The event, which began at 11:30 a.m., was short-lived, as all of the burgers were eaten before 1 p.m.
