Once visitors walk through the tables of flowers at Gulley Greenhouse and Garden Center, they will be welcomed by four animals that now permanently reside at the greenhouse.

Lucky the horse, Rossie the pot-bellied pig, Lola the dwarf Angus cow and a small pygmy goat named Sparkles are the animals in the petting zoo addition, which was added in June.

Mateo Jimenez, one of the family owners of the greenhouse, said he was inspired by his three children to add the petting zoo to the greenhouse.

“It was made because of the kids, and this way, they can share it,” Jimenez said.
