Volunteers for Free the Girls accepting donations

Volunteers for Free the Girls, an organization that helps women who have experienced human trafficking violence, will be collecting donations of bras and cash. The volunteers will have a booth at the Flea Market in the Lory Student Center from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Friday.

“A bra and a buck would raise money for this cause,” said Trenice Lane, a volunteer for the organization. “They get bras from all around the world, and they donate the money to the cause to help women get jobs after they have been through (sex labor).”

The volunteers will be helping sort donations from the run Saturday as well.
