19-year-old jumps from third story window, police investigating marijuana use

Fort Collins police are investigating whether a 19-year-old consumed marijuana edibles prior to jumping out of a third story window.

April 14, officers arrived at 1050 Hobbit St., where Austin Essig was found on the ground with “with non-life threatening injuries,” police said Monday.

Essig is not a Colorado State University student.

According to the police report, the investigation is ongoing and no further information will be released at this time.
