The Muslim Student Association will be hosting an event in honor of Black History Month at 5 p.m. in the Behavioral Sciences Building Friday.
The event will host speaker Imam Khalid Griggs, who will talk about institutional racism and the roll it plays in today’s society.
The event is free to the public and there will be free food provided.
“With the Muslim Student Association, we are not just representing ourselves,” said Israa Eideiry, MSA president. “We are here for everyone and we speak for all minorities, and everyone in general.”
