The Lory Student Center main entrance doors began leaking on Tuesday at approximately 9:30 a.m.

A student in line for Sweet Sinsations first noticed the leakage. Staff members at the coffee shop then notified Colorado State University officials. Students were moved from the location, and the doors were shut for cleaning and repair.

According to Doni Luckutt, director of marketing for the Lory Student Center, a HVOC coil froze. The contractor is fixing the issue under his warranty with the University.

“Such things can be expected in new construction,” Luckutt stated in an email. “We’re working closely with the contractor to make sure it’s resolved.”

Luckutt said that the entrance is open once again, but the automatic doors will remain shut as a result of the weather.
