Larimer County Sheriff’s Office investigating homicide

The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office located human remains near mile marker 10 on County Road 74E in unincorporated Larimer County Friday, according to a press release.

The coroner’s office identified the remains as 28-year-old Andrea Bartmess and determined the manner of death as homicide. The cause of death will take weeks to determine.

The investigation is ongoing, and the sheriff’s office will not be releasing any further information at this time.

Anyone with information regarding this incident or any crime is asked to call Larimer County Sheriff’s Office at (970) 416-1985 or Crime Stoppers at (970) 221-6868, where they will remain anonymous and possibly be eligible for a cash reward.
