Guns stolen from two Fort Collins police cars

Fort Collins police discovered that rifles had been stolen from two marked police cars Friday, according to a press release.

The incident occurred in a neighborhood in the northeast part of Fort Collins. Agency issued patrol rifles were taken from each locked vehicle, which had been stored in the passenger compartments. Fort Collins police detectives are investigating the incident.
