Colorado State University launches SOURCE

Colorado State University introduced the new website SOURCE this morning, which replaced the Today@Colorado State website.

In the university’s announcement email sent out at noon Monday, SOURCE is described as a one-stop source for all CSU related news, announcements and information.

According to the email, SOURCE will have more stories along with more pictures and videos than it’s predecessor, Today@Colorado State.

The organization of the site will also change. Unlike the Today@Colorado State website where the information was organized by the type of user, the SOURCE website is organized by types of information. Latest Headlines, Campus Announcements, Ram Family, Events and Social are the main headings SOURCE uses to organize the information on their site.

Just like with Today@Colorado State, emails will be sent out on Mondays and Thursdays highlighting certain information. New stories, videos and pictures will be posted on the SOURCE website every day, according to the email.

If students want to look at old stories from Today@Colorado State, they are all archived online.

Collegian Reporter Sady Swanson can be reached at news@collegian.com or on Twitter @sadyswan.
