Trader Joe’s intended to open Oct. 1, 2014. Due to delays in construction, the store will not open its doors until 2015.

The Square, located at 3500 S. College Ave., is undergoing intensive construction to renew the shopping area.

Trader Joe’s will be part of 30,000 square feet of retail space. The majority of the space will be taken up by Trader Joe’s, along with Sierra Trading Post.

The Fort Collins Trader Joe’s will be Colorado’s seventh store. Earlier this year the store opened shop in Denver and Boulder.
